This regency house dates back to the 1820 period and was once home to the Earls of Donegall. Set in the tranquil grounds of Barnett’s Park, the house is now owned by Belfast City Council – who restored the property after it was significantly damaged by a fire in 1970.
Visitors can enjoy the tearoom and a relaxed stroll around this small parkland.
Nearby you will find the River Lagan, Shaw’s Bridge and The Clement Wilson Park. Also, the National Trust’s Minnowburn is a few minutes drive away.
